Do we pay Smetools or Odoo for the software licence?
Both, separately. The Odoo licence is paid directly to Odoo, based on your users and the apps you use. Smetools's fee is for implementation, training, and ongoing support, never bundled into one confusing number.
How long does an Odoo implementation take?
It depends on how many modules and how much customization you need. A small, standard setup can go live in weeks; a larger, tailored one takes longer. We scope this with you before any work starts.
What's the difference between implementation and the Health Check?
Implementation is the one-time setup. The Health Check is an ongoing, AI-assisted service that keeps watching your Odoo instance after go-live for anomalies, missing controls, and drift, so problems get caught early, not months later.
Is the Process & Controls Health Check a financial audit?
No. It's a monitoring and advisory service, not a statutory audit or independent assurance engagement. If you need a formal, licensed audit, we'll point you to an independent firm for that specifically.
Do you do Shopify as well as Odoo?
Yes, and the two together are the point. We build or migrate Shopify stores and connect them to Odoo so orders, stock, customers, and accounting stay in sync instead of being re-typed. It's the same setup we ran ourselves at Ariika while it scaled past $20M.
